I just gave this toy to my son for Christmas and so far I am very disappointed. The toy works in try me mode but not play mode. We have switched out all the batteries several times. We even used different brand batteries. All the batteries were brand new. We followed the instructions of going from try me mode to off for 5 seconds. This toy still won’t work.
The manual is not helpful and Thinkway’s site doesn’provide any support information. This toy will probably go back which is sad because it would be a cool toy if it worked.

Son really loves buzz, so we got him this for his birthday. You can’t appreciate this toy without replacing all the batteries first, it has a lot of cool functions. At 4 years he is too young for this toy he loves to knock him over and hear buzz ask to be picked back up. That’s how Buzz’s left arm had fallen off, from a fall from about 2 feet,. Still unable to reconnect, but have not tried very hard to do so. Son still love it and thinks that with his arm off it is just like the first movie.

i liked the buzz but was a little disappointed when my son opened him up and his mouth didn’t work. This is the second one i’ve bought that something didn’t work on him. the last one i bought, his arm fell off and his eyes didn’t work. i didn’t bother with returning it b/c my son loved it and it wasn’t worth the hassle.

It’s just a toy. Nothing that justifies the high price. It does not “interact”. It is just a remote controlled figure toy. You push a button, it does something. Artificial Intelligent does not exist at all in this product.

My son is 2 and we got it for him for christmas. definately his favorite toy right now. it’s durable and has a ton of great features…except one thing…the wings don’t come out. unless i am missing something (please correct me if i am wrong) but we have not figured out how they come out if they do. for the price and the robotic features of the toy, i would have thought they would have it do everything. only other complaint is the amount of batteries–14, yes 14 AAs to run this thing. you better get stocked:) but even so, my son loves it and that makes us happy!
